assistance needed - new favicon doesn't update

I've successfully uploaded a new favicon, but the published site (tried several times) doesn't reflect the updated favicon. Please advise or have a technician look into this issue. Thanks!

The favicon upload is working normally and without any issues. Please specify which image you are uploading to it. Make an image of 16X16 size and upload it to the Site Settings.
