Copy and paste code issue

Ask a Question

My organization unfortunately uses a clunky website platform (MemberClicks). The ability to design anything modern within their design tools is non-existent. I've been looking for workarounds to try to design and use html code to make it look nicer, but when I copy and paste the code from my NicePage design into MemberClicks, it seems to strip away all of the nice, modern looking design elements that I'm trying to include, and I'm back to square one with the page looking clunky and outdated. Any suggestions? Or is this a lost cause? I'm about to lose my mind.

Hi,

Probably you are missing the CSS code for styling, try to copy it as well. But actually we do not support such modifications, and the exported HTML should be used as a complete HTML site, then it works as it should.

What do you mean by modifications? I’m just copying and pasting. I’m not modifying anything. Do I put the css code in first? And then the html?

Hi,

I mean that we provide the export of the whole HTML site that should be uploaded completely to the hosting as it is. If you intend to take some HTML from the exported site and paste it into another location we are not responsible for how it will work.
