I created a child template for my nicepage template to add some things to the function.php file but when I try to use it, it makes it format weird and not look right.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us

Please specify where did you add the file function.php? As we can see from your profile, you are using Online Builder. Unfortunately, using PHP in the Online Builder is not available. You can use it only from Desktop app with WordPress and Joomla CMS.

Thank you

Hi,
OK. Please specify your issue in detail and attach some screenshots. What exactly is editing in the file functions.php, and what looks weird. So we could reproduce the issue and advice you accordingly.
Thank you

Images of the site before and after the child template was enabled. It is not something with the functions.php file in the child template because it was like this before I added anything.

Hello,

Please specify what exact additional features are you trying to achieve and what exact code have you added to the functions.php file?

Your screenshot Before is from the desktop project, not the editor view with the parent Theme in your WordPress admin panel or site view.
Please provide the correct one with your parent theme.

Nicepage WordPress Plugin supports additional CSS code through site Settings, would be implemented to the whole site or through Page Settings.
Originally we cannot guarantee original theme stable functionality with any added codes to the functions.php file and whether or not the changes would be implemented correctly.

Thanks.
