Ask a Question

Hello,

i have a problem with updates on my site, i want to add new contect in the future but as for now, whenever i upload new html generated code, the old files doesnt rewrite in cachce hence making the site messy or even missing the new content sometimes. Is there a way to ensure broswer loads new files? Something like versioning?

And what happens if you clear the cache from the browser?

Please send us screenshots of the files that you have on your hosting? The web address of the website also.

And attach to this ticket the files that you send to your hosting to update your website.

Thank you

Yes,that is not a problem, the problem is that browser uses files from cache and not the new ones because the names are the same and browser thinks nothing has changed

Hi Samuel,

Thanks for contacting us

If you are exporting your website into HTML, it's not enough only to add your new pages/content to your existing folder. You should delete the previous website and import the newly exported HTML website, and the changes will be applied immediately. To make it faster and easy, we would advise you to use the File Manager in your hosting CPanel.

Hope that helps,

Feel free to contact us for further assistance.
