favicon only desktop

Hello,

i see that only on desktop it is possible to create favicon. But the big problem is that when a page is uploaded a couple of months ago there are online changes.

So if i use de desktop only for changing favicon maybe everything is changing.

That is a very big problem. And what. favicon is in the adress. So i don not understand why it is not online possible.

Maybe you can create an system that you can download the wordpresss site again. Change it and then upload it again.

You could also upload the favicon file to your root and not do it through the program.

Hi Albert,

The Favicon is a part of the Theme and it can be edited in the desktop application only. On the site you can edit the Content only, so you can now add the desired favicon in your theme in the desktop application, export it as a Theme only (without content and plug-in) and that won't change the edited content on your site, it will update the theme only.
