The Product Title cannot be edited, because the e-commerce elements display all the products you already have in your CMS (WordPress or Joomla).
For example: you have a product in your CMS that's called "T-Shirt". The Product List element will display the name and the picture of this product.

I'm having the same issue not only with the product title but product description but I'm doing this as an html site not a wordpress site and this is a block I just added so there is no prior product info. It seems this has been a problem for a while, is there going to be a fix for it?

With Nicepage PRO and Ultimate licenses, you can create e-commerce templates for CMS-based websites (create pages with WooCommerce and VirtueMart Product List and Product Details).
Nicepage does not provide any e-commerce functionality for HTML websites.

I do not see any cases from you, probably you have created them using another account.
Please explain in more details what exactly is not working. The category blog page should be showing the articles from the specific category and it will use the Blog Template from your Nicepage theme created in the desktop application.
