After one year of support, the websites created and exported to WordPress would stop all nicepage theme updates?

After one year, will be stopped the possibility of updating the WordPress plugin/Desktop App, and it won't impact your theme.

You will not be able to add Nicepage images (except those that you have downloaded before) and Blocks and Templates that were created after the free updates ended. And you will be able to use the old Blocks and Templates.

would it compromise the functionality of the website?

Not at all. The functionality will remain the same as it was at the moment you kept it.

In other words, do I need to keep paying every year to keep all webs working properly?

There's no need to pay every year for your websites to work. Unless you've got one of Premium Plans from Online Builder and Hosting Package.
For Designer App Package, the license is lifetime. If you want you can pay for the next year of free updates with a 40% discount from the initial price.

so I am still confused. What about the nicepage theme updates? the theme will keep getting updates after the year of support expires?

Hi Luis,

It would be better to say "after updates expire", because support is available for all users. :)

For the Desktop App of Designer App Pack, with a lifetime license after one year of the updates expire you will not be able to use the new updates. You will be required to use the last version of the updates before it expires.
In Online Builder for Online Builder and Hosting Package you are getting the updates regularly and automatically.

Sorry I think i dont make my self clear or maybe I am not understanding correctly. I do understand that there is a one year support for
Desktop App of Designer App Pack... My question is: Let say I build a website created with Nicepage, then Instead of exporting it to HTML, I export it as a WordPress THEME, as you know, all Wordpress THEMES need to be updated from time to time. So after the 1 year "after updates expire" Those Wordpress THEMES would continue to be updated? I know the Nicepage plugin will stop work after 12 months but what about the THEME? or the THEME created does not require updates like regular WordPress updates like Astra, or Impreza, ETC.....

Hi Luis,

You'll be getting the updates, but the Theme or plugin, or App doesn't require regular updates for stable functionality.

The Nicepage license for Desktop is a lifetime license, and it continues to work even if the updates will be expired. In other words, by purchasing the license you are getting a lifetime license with one year of updates. After the year is expired if you wish you can extend the updates with a certain discount or you can use your last version before the updates expired as long as you want without extending it.
