How to update the Theme in Wordpress?

Hi Alexander,

The Theme can be updated in the desktop application. You will need to update the desktop app, open your project and export the Theme only, upload it to the site and activate. Note, the theme won't harm your site content, it will change the theme only.

How can I export my Theme in Wordpress that I can open it in the Desktop App? I did a lot of work in the plugin.

Hello Alexander,

Unfortunately, it's not possible for now. You can only open an exported Project from the desktop app in the app itself. No other formats are supported.

I wonder then why there is a plugin when the theme that you create with it is quickly out of date. Do I have any disadvantages if I cannot update the theme?

Hi Alexander,

CMS plugin is a content builder. It is not connected to the theme. This allows using Nicepage pages with any theme. The theme can be updated by exporting it from the Desktop application. In other words, you created a project in the Desktop application and exported it as the WP theme or theme+content. To update the theme should export this project again as the WP theme.

than I export My site for wordpress ad strat to modify on wordpress
than I crete ad update a new Business Account and update plug-in for wordpress
now How can update my theme because In my app I don't have the old project and now The wodrpess theme is rahter different foimr the first version

Please export the theme from the first location where you have created it. If you export it as a project, then you can import it in another Nicepage application to edit further.
