Ask a Question

Hi, can anyone advise why a file version is created for me with each new import of a template? Of course, when importing, I choose "replace content". Printscreen is from a WordPress editor, not a desktop app. What plugin do you use to clean up?

And would you recommend a reliable plugin that can organize files in the "upload" directory? With each new update, it uploads to a folder by date, but I would rather appreciate if the files could be sorted into folders "theme images", "content images", "pdf price lists". Just some sensible organization, clarity and not everything in one pile.

Thanks for the tips
Pavel

Hi Pavel,

The "Replace content" option removes the old page and creates a new page. Therefore, the index is added to the page title. We recommend that you edit the content directly in WordPress to avoid this situation.
Please let us know if you have further questions.

Well, if you remove the old content, there is no reason for the new content to be created as a new version. And advice, not using the Desktop app but editing only in the WP editor, that's a bit of a shoot at your own foot, right? Sorry, but this will probably not be the right solution ...
