Can other plugins be integrated into Nicepage generated theme

Ask a Question

When Nicepage exports a project for WordPress, the exported file includes the Nicepage Plugin and its installation procedure. I am considering the purchase of a third-party Slider plugin. It comes with a developer license that entitles a theme to include the installer for the third-party Slider. HOWEVER, the licensing terms require that the slider cannot be installed without the theme, and the slider MUST be removed as part of the theme removal.

Does Nicepage currently contain the hooks to be able to accomplish this kind of third-party plugin bundling as part of the theme installation (i.e. offering the third-party plugin as a required installation).

Hi, Jack,

On Nicepage, it is possible to implement third-party WordPress plugins to the Nicepage Theme. In this case, you can try using the Shortcode Element.

Should you have questions while integrating the third-party plugin, don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for responding, however, I did not make myself clear. I know how to add shortcodes to my website to incorporate CONTENT from OTHER plugins.

My question had to do with BUNDLING of third-party plugins with the distribution of my generated Theme. When a theme is generated for WordPress, the generated installation package includes not only the theme, but also the Nicepage PLUGIN, which is used for editing the theme on the end-user's site.

If I wish to distribute ANOTHER THIRD PARTY PLUGIN with my theme, does Nicepage have a way of including the third party plugin in the installation file, and prompting the end-user to install not only the NICEPAGE plugin, but also the THIRD PARTY plugin?
