Ask a Question

Dear sir/madam,

I have implemented reCaptcha V3 (according to the steps Nicepage gave me) with the two keys. But I checked the reCaptcha website and I got this notification: "We detected that your site is not verifying reCAPTCHA-tokens." with a link for more information https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/verify#api-request.
I use Nicepage so I'm very limited with what I can edit in HTML. But to dismiss that notification, I have to edit the HTML... According to Google (https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/v3), I have to place some codes in Nicepage, which I did, but I also have to make an ID to the contact form and edit the submit button. But I can't do that with Nicepage.
The reCaptcha icon is visible (I made it invisible with css, but it's there) so the reCaptcha is working.

I hope you can help me!!
Thanks,

Romy

Hi, Romy,

Unfortunately, we cannot do anything with the performance of third-party services including reCAPTCHA. This service is implemented on Nicepage with the help of two keys. Usually, they are enough for the correct work of reCAPTCHA. We recommend you to address the support forum of Google. If your problem comes from our side, we will do anything we can to assist you.

Hi Paul,

I already have some code there, but the code I need for reCaptcha to work properly can't go there. I'll get "The following tags are allowed: STYLE, BASE, LINK, META, SCRIPT, NOSCRIPT". So that's also not an option...unfortunately.
I tried everything, but I need to be able to add an id to the form's submit button so I can set up an onclick event to validate the reCaptcha response.

Hi, Carin,

In this case, try inserting the needed code to the "Additional Head HTML" field in the Site Settings.

Hi Paul,

I have the two keys, I also have the icon on my website, that's not the problem. The problem is that it's still isn't working properly. In Google reCaptcha I got that notification "We detected that your site is not verifying reCAPTCHA-tokens.", and for that to be gone I have to do stuff with code. For now I want to get rid of that notification and every website I visit says the same, with adding a bit html.

In another question Hella said that "there might be no enough data for reCaptcha now to analyze the spam and protect the site completely", but there is plenty of data. It cannot be that on small websites the reCaptcha is not working because of that? Then some of our clients can never have a normal site without spam.
Maybe in the future Nicepage can do something about that?? Like adding and editing more html e.a. for this kind of problems...

Hi, Carin,

For implementing reCAPTCHA on your website created with Nicepage you need only these two keys. You don't need to insert any codes for the reason that Nicepage generates these codes by itself.

If there is the reCAPTCHA icon on your website, it means that reCAPTCHA works.
