Image Slider

Hi Thomas,

Nicepage provides almost the same slider as it was in Artisteer.
You can create a simple image slider using Slide control available in ADD.
Unfortunately, animations are not available but we added your request to our wishlist.

I can not seem to add a slider into a cell. In fact worse than that when i add the SLIDE and add 1 x image it expands into the whole scree. I just want to add 5 images into a slider and have that sliding in the right hand column of a 2 cell row!

How?

I also want to add a slider into a grid cell. I don't want a whole new block for it. :(

OK, I've solved the issue (Sort of). Thought I'd explain for the benefit of others who might want to do this.

1. Create a new slider block
2. Insert a grid with the same layout as the grid you want the slider in. Resize the height to match.
3. Insert the unchanging areas into the grid as normal and add the first image that you want to use.
4. duplicat the slide and in the second slide change just the image part. Continue duplicating until you have a number of slides with all the images inserted.
5. In the slider controls, disable everything except the autoplay and set the desired time period for the image to change.
6. Use the fade animation.
   When the page loads the image will change as desired and everything else in the grid will appear stationary.
