Video autoplay setting (browser and on focus issues)

Hello,

    I've added a video block to my project and found that:

Chrome does not support auto play, while Explorer does, and
Autoplay begins to play my video (only in IE) right after my webpage has been loaded, well before I can scroll down in the page to see the video actually,

So my questions are:

Is there a way/tool in Nicepage to overcome Chrome not playing videos automatically?
Can we limit the video autoplay function to 'on focus', i.e. only start playing the video when the user scrolls to the video block and stop playing when the user scrolls either up or downwards, losing focus on the video?

Hi,
remyfication, it is because the video is uploaded. For now, Nicepage does not have a "Mute the player" option, but we will add it to our wishlist. Also, some browsers mute videos by default.

Hello Roland,
Thank you for using Nicepage!

For the videos to autoplay in browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge), you'll need to check the "mute the player" option.

Other than that, when you add a video block > check "automatically start to play", in Firefox, and Chrome the video won't autoplay, but in Edge it does.

Can we limit the video autoplay function to 'on focus', i.e. only start playing the video when the user scrolls to the video block and stop playing when the user scrolls either up or downwards, losing focus on the video?

Unfortunately, there's no such option in Nicepage for now.
