Ask a Question

Hi there,

I just found Nicepage and I think it could be a nice way to quickly prototype a webpage.

There are a couple of open questions, though:

  1. Is there a way to export the HTML unminfied?
Reason: I am mostly creating static sites and enhance those sites later (e.g. loading images from the web, etc...). While that works with nicepage too, but it is a bit cumbersome to patch the DOM before letting nicepage.js do it's thing. It would be much nicer to being able to squeeze the source-code.
Reason2: I have a test-project which works okay, but throws an exception (something like t.content ..., which is not very helpful, because I can't see what's wrong. I patched that error in the minified version of nicepage.js, but that's plain stupid :)

  2. E.g looking at the gallery-view: How can I asynchronously load images and initalize the gallery later (I think this is one of the points which could be solved with #1 above)

  3. From the background-image settings, I am missing a couple of settings/properties , e.g. no-repeat background-property (like in: background-image: url(x.jpb no-repeat center)). Do I miss something here?

Thanks for any insights

andy

Hi,

Thnaks for contacting us. Unfortunately there is no way to choose in what way the code will be exported, you can work only with what you have after the export.
As for the exception error, please provide more details, we need a screenshot of the complete message and where does it occur, what have you done before it happened?
Regarding the background image properties, you can only select the Contain, Cover and Tiles option. The Tiles option will set the background-repeat property to repeat, in other cases it will be set to no-repeat automatically.

Hi Hella,

thanks for the info.
Without tweakability of the code (or dynamic content), the tool will unfortunately not fit for me. :( (too bad, because it looked/worked good).

thx for you reply anyway

Hi Hella,

if there will be the ability to tweak the code, then absolutely yes... Otherwise nicepage a bit too limited/unflexible for me.
