Ask a Question

Hello,
I use "Image Gallery" block in my webpage. I put some pictures in it.
But in the source code I have empty H3 :/
I want to delete the empy H3 because there is not text, this a picture gallery.
Is it a bug, or did I do something wrong ?
Thank you very much

Source code with empty H3:

              <div class="u-back-slide">
            <img class="u-back-image u-expanded lazyload" data-src="images/default-image.jpg">
          </div>
          <div class="u-over-slide u-shading u-over-slide-4">
            <h3 class="u-gallery-heading"></h3>
            <p class="u-gallery-text"></p>
          </div>
        </div>
        <div class="u-effect-fade u-gallery-item">
          <div class="u-back-slide">
            <img class="u-back-image u-expanded lazyload" data-src="images/default-image.jpg">

Hello Blinder,

This is normal behaviour as H tags are block-level elements and a part of the function.

Hello Support Team,
what is a block-level element ?

My problem is that Google thinks <h3>, <h2>, <h1> are for separate paragraph in a webpage or a blog post.
But if there is no words in it, it's not good for the SEO.

How could I show a pictures gallery with Nice Page without Hn please ?
Thank you

Hi Blinder,

A block-level element is any element that starts a new line (e.g., paragraph) and uses the full width of the page or container. That's why Google sees them as paragraphs. As I stated before, this behaviour is normal.

Hello,
last final question...
I don't want empty <h3> in my code. I'm SEO and I know that is not good for SEO.
So is it possible to have a photo gallery without empty H3 with NicePage ?
Yes or not.
If not, your builder is not SEO friendly.

Hello Blinder,

For now, our Gallery made with an H3 tag included for the possibility to add text over images.
Unfortunately, there is no possibility to remove H3 now
We already made a lot for SEO optimization and keep working on updating Nicepage for the best SEO results.

Hi,

As an alternative, you can change the Title type from H3 to Text under the Gallery Text Style options on the right side panel.
