Ask a Question

Is there any way to unlink a grid/list after creating it? Or maybe just affect one?

I am putting images into a grid and I want only ONE of them to not have the image, but I can't find a way to affect only one for things besides background color. Its nice they are synchronizing but I do want to be able to make one a little different.

Another issue I am having related to this is that its forcing the images to be the same size and its creating strange cropping. If I could edit them separately this would fix this issue or maybe force the images to maximize to the dimensions available instead of cropping.

Hello!

We glad to help with your question.

1) Yes, you can have one item without an image, to make so, please:
- Select your Grid/List element
- Select Cell you need to have without image

enter image description here

- On the panel on the right select "Item"
- Select no background option
enter image description here

Your result will be
enter image description here

2) You can crop your images separately
- Click the cell with an image you want to have different cropping
- Select the Item option on the panel on the right
- Click the Crop option and select a desirable position of the image

enter image description here

Unfortunately, images with other dimensions can't be applied to desirable form without influence on image ratio, that's why only the Crop option is enabled.

Searching for an answer in this forum I stumbled across this question with pictures, given me a good understanding how this works. Is it however possible to to the same with HTML code?. Every time I enter code, it repeats in every box of the grid. I find it kind of useful to have this presets but a simple "unlink button" of such a list/grid would be very useful, thus being able to shift elements around indecently of the rest of the grid/list. Please help.

Hello Klemens Milow,

Can you please create a separate private case and attach screenshots, providing more details about what exact HTML code you using, with what Element, and what exactly you want to "unlink" so we can provide information?
