I see an option for a search tool field to be included in the header but it´s just an empty icon. When will it be useful by having a web search engine implemented? What to do till then?

If you need the search we recommend that you consider the use of CMS like Joomla or WordPress.

Thanks. I´m not using WP nor Joomla so it´s in fact a problem. Google is fine but it includes too much publicity in the free option... I haven´t found a solution yet.

If you do not plan to use CMS like Joomla or WordPress, the Search may be a problem. This functionality needs a database in the general case. If a database is not used, we recommend that you consider the use of google search.

have you perhaps tried to using another plugin (a search tool plugin)?

Hi, no, I haven´t... I´m afraid I´m not so advanced... any help or suggestion on where to learn how to do it will be appreciated...

Well I'm not sure on what you are using. I use wordpress and wordpress has many plugins to help your website. Just google how to install plugins for wordpress (assuming you use wordpress). Once you know how to install plugins, you will need to search for your plugin.

Hi Elena,

We do not plan to implement a search engine into our Static Web Site Builder.

Nicepage provides only Search Control, but not provide search functionality.
This control can be easily used with CMS built-in search functionality.

For HTML export you still can use third-party search plugins like google search.
