Ask a Question

Hello,

I created my site in de Nicepage Desktop and exported all succesfully to my Joomla site (www.vzw-vitaal.be).
My question (and I did not found the answer in the vids or in the forum) is how I can give content to blogs.

NP automaticly makes 'a page' (an article in Joomla). But I need a category that shows the content of articles.

I made a little screenvideo to let you see what I really mean. Is there please someone who can help me?
Sorry for the errors, but my language is not English...

Thanks, Patrick (Belgium)

I also miss this possibility. As far as I know, only articles that you have written in Joomal (not with the NP plugin) and that have been categorized will appear in the NP blog. That's why I created the NP blog by hand. Maybe the function will still come in NP

Hi,

Nicepage provides two options for blogging in CMS:
1. Blog Template. This is a part of the CMS theme. It can be edited under the Theme menu in the Desktop application only. The Blog Template is applied to the Joomla category Blog layout pages. It displays both Nicepage pages and native Joomla articles.
2. Blog Posts element that can be added to the nicepage page under the Elements menu. It displays native Joomla articles only. For this, you should set the desired category name or another filter under the right-side panel.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Olivia
