Hi Lynda,
I had read since that images are often put into the background in Nicepage, and therefore don't show up for alt-text analysis
Yes, that is correct, when you resize the image to the cell or group size, the image becomes background property in CSS and it cannot have alt tag at all.
I suggest you to add the SEO Alt property to all real images once again on your site and let me then check if they are present in the code.
