I intend to buy the designer app and read that you can make 5 websites with it. So after that the app is already rendered useless?

In Personal Plan you can have up to 5 websites in Desktop App. The Total number must be 5. If you will delete those 5 websites/projects, you can simply create after that another 5 websites/projects.
