I just updated to the latest version. In the back end of Joomla I have a page created and done. When I publish, it is completely different. Here are screen shots.

Hi, Carl,

Thanks for using Nicepage! Do you use the latest versions of Joomla and the Nicepage plugin? Do you have any other plugins in Joomla? If you do, try deactivating some of them (especially those which affect CSS). Have you tried clearing the cache in Joomla? We also recommend you to do it.
After that, let us know about the results.
