Ask a Question

Hello Support!

Where can I insert "Alt"?I'm asking how to do this simply in case it can be done.

I can't find it in the edit screen, and Is it true that the logs say that Nicepage has a bug that prevents alt insertion?

Has the bug been fixed yet?

Thank you.

Atsuko

Hi, Atsuko,

Thanks for using Nicepage! Clarify please, do you mean inserting symbols via the "Alt" button? Try inserting these symbols with the English keyboard layout turned on.

If you mean the SEO Alt, you can insert it to some elements, for example, images. Just click on the Element, go down on the menu that is located right-hand side, and you will see the field for the SEO Alt.

If you mean something else, let us know about it.

Hello Support!

Your reply was very helpful, but I seem to be having this problem.

I have created a page using the template and replaced the image field with another image.

However, when I select the image to put in the "SEO alt", the tab on the right block says "Grid" instead of "Image" and there is no "SEO alt".

Is it possible that I'm inserting the image incorrectly?

In fact, when I insert an image from the left element, the top right tab shows "Image" and there is an "SEO alt".

How do I reinsert the image into the "Image" tab instead of the "Grid" tab?

Atsuko

Atsuko,

Could you please reproduce your problem, record it, and send us a video of this problem? It would be helpful for us.

We think that you resize your image to the sizes of the cell. After this action, the image becomes a background image. When an image turns into a background image, you cannot adjust its settings. The background image is a CSS property. It does not need an alt attribute.

Hellow Support!

After receiving your above reply and testing various things, I realized that this was Nicepage's weak point.

As long as this weakness exists, I can't say out loud that Nicepage is SEO friendly as a Landing Page for campaigns and events.

I would like to see Nicepage improved to be a tool that not only looks good, but is also SEO friendly.

That's my impression after using it for a year.Keep up the good work.

Thank you.

Atsuko

But please note that if you do not resize the image to convert it to the background, you will be able to add alt text.
