Please clarify what template and where you are trying it to import?
Could you please attach this template.
We also recommend that you check server PHP error log files. There is should be a more informative error message.

I made the template with Artisteer 4.3 and the name of the template is "kenmusic". I imported into Joomla 3.9.25 site.
The display of the layout and the content on the site is messed up. Here is the URL: https://kenyapc.net/kenmusic
