Thanks for using Nicepage! Clarify please, do you mean the dimensions of images or their size (in megabytes or kilobytes)? If you mean the first thing, you can set any dimensions that you want. However, it is advisable not to stretch or expand images too much for saving the quality of an image.

Hi, yes i mean the dimensions. Obviously the thumbnail is smaller, is it best to set the size of the image to the lightbox size? What is the optimum image dimension for lightbox for desktops? I would like to know the maximum size/dimension before it hinders the loading process (I realise the end user specs may dictate this to some extent but there must be a guideline?)

Sarah,

In any case, an image lightbox occupies the bigger part of your display. On our app, the adjustment of an image lightbox is not featured.
Few things can hinder the loading process of your website: the number of images/videos, their size (not dimensions), the quality of the Internet and hosting, etc. So, set the size of your images as you want, depending on the design and style of your website.
