What are the hardware requirements for running the program? With newer versions, I feel a noticeable slowdown and lag. I click on the text selection and before the cursor appears I can type, so the delay is easily 2-3 seconds. Although I don't have the youngest machine, I have an SSD, 16GB DDR3, AMD Athlon X4 760K, AMD Radeon R7 370 and latest Windows 10 Home 20H2 there. The use of system resources is about 600MB RAM and max. 30% CPU. Does anyone else feel the same way?

  • I can advise you to reinstall Nicepage.
    But before it please make a backup of your projects using the export method.
  • Try to disable the Antivirus programme and check changes in performance.
    Also let us know how big is your site: how many pages, the number of media files.

We have imported your project, and CPU latencies and overloads are not much higher than those of similar projects.
Try to search for any other security apps on your computer, which can slow down the work of Nicepage.
It is possible that there are some applications that are running in the background with constant access to the hard disk. Just in case, check free space on the system's disk.

Thanks for the tips, I went through a few settings and found more ways to improve system performance and therefore the agility of Nicepage on older machines.
I will add more tips:
Nicepage settings:
- in the left column "my sites" I had 21 projects in progress ... I deleted most of them and left only about 7 on which I am working.
Setting system:
- turn off effects and set Windows to "prioritize performance" (I left only "clear type" font anti-aliasing enabled
- turn off the paging file
- turn off indexing
- turn off the "superfetch" system service
- I had the SSD disk 80% full, I recommend leaving more free space.
Most settings also have a positive effect on the life of the SSD.
Working with Nicepage is emotionally much faster. RAM load still the same, the processor went from some 30-40% to 20-25%. SSD load still below 10%.

And I have one more question. Does Nicepage use GPU hardware acceleration?
