Ask a Question

Hi Guys

I have a block with a background image, and I want to be able to see more of the background image at the bottom of the block before the next block comes, so I tried to place an empty block with transparent background in between, but it does not work as planned, there is a white gap in the preview, both browser at quick preview.

I have made a workaround with putting an empty table in there with transparent lines, but it seems like a bid bulky of a solution, so please help me a proper one.

Thanks.

/Ulf

Good day, Ulf,

To make your section height bigger you can just stratch your section block height.
For this you need to select your section block (with text and background) and after that
pull the conrol button down (it will appear at the bottom of the block).

If needed place your text block inside the section in any place you want it.

And finaly you can control your background image settings by click on it.
You will see crop option at the top of the image - this option help to align your background, choose what part of the image will be shown.
Also at the panel on the right you have zoom option for background - it can help position some images.

If you still have any questions, feel free to ask !

Ok thanks, but I was wondering if you had 1 grid with one row and 2 columns - would you be able to change that to i.e. 5 rows, or should you add 5 x 1 row grids?

Thanks

Ulf,

I hope I understand your question correctly.

To add cells and rows to your grid :
- Click on the grid you want to change
- On the panel on the right click "arrow down" under "Grid Layout" settings.
- You can choose any grid with different columns and rows properties
- For your example with 5 rows 2 columns choose a grid with 2 rows and 5 columns
- It will appear on your page, click it
- On the right panel near "Grid layout" settings you will see "Flip button" - click it
- Choose "rotate" option
That's how you change one grid template to another

Another option is from the start to choose 5 columns 2 rows grid and just rotate it.
