Ask a Question

Gentlemen, in some cases I can't find the field where to insert the ALT attribute to place in the images .. in some fields or items in a block you have the option and in others not.

This detail is very important for those who work with website optimization (SEO).

I'll give an example: I insert a Block in the Header and the image from this blog does not show me the field for me to insert the attribute ..

Also insert a block with a list of products .. and the images from this product blog also do not show me the field for me to insert the attribute ..

I think that the field should exist in each and every item that has an image .. because it is an important optimization for our site before Google ..

Is there something I am not seeing to be able to put these attributes?

Hi Marcos,

This is the Product control that only outputs the products that you are creating on your site using the shop options. You cannot add the alt tag to the image in the application as that is only a placeholder and the exact image will be taken later from the product information on the site.
If your shop allows adding the alt tag to the product image, then use that option in your CMS.

There are blocks that the image is not a CSS element and still do not have this option.

See attached images ..

These, even though they are attached, we can see that the images appear in the source code of the site and that they could have the ALT attribute. optimization of the site ... but I understand that this field should appear here in the APP Nicepage ..

This was one of the blocks I used and the option for the ALT attribute does not appear. I even did a test and bring the image in front of everything and even then the field for the ALT attribute does not appear.

There are other blocks that take images and that are not that option either ...

Follow the attached images ... but as I said: some blocks that already come with images do not have the ALT attribute option field. I think you can see it in your system with what I already talked about .. unless the problem is specifically in Nicepage installed on my computer.

Hi Marcos,

The Alt tag is available only for the Image control. If you resize the image to the background, it becomes the background CSS property that cannot have Alt tag.
