Position item in top Bar

Sorry, I do not get your issue completely. Are you trying to add the Position control in the Header? What happens then? I have no issues adding the position in the header.
Maybe your project and some screenshots will be helpful.

damn can't reproduce.

the matter was: moved a position into top upper left area (eg . google translator) it changed to joomla position or wordpress sidebar name
and subsequently it created a left empty strip (such as postion left) in all pages.
will terminate this site next and will recheck
