Bugs in Windows App

Report a bug

Many times the buttons on the windows desktop app become unresponsive. For example the save button many times does nothing, the fill option for an active section or cell gives no updated information, and so on and so forth. I think it may be an interface update problem. That is when a selection is made the interface does not update.

Another bug: Many times when trying to tweak the size of sections or cells there is no or little response. Last night I spent an insane amount of time trying to make the 4 cells in a grid layout look good in cell phone mode. The last cell ended up being about 12 feet long and I am still trying to shorten it. It only shortens a few points at a time and I'm still not sure it is doing anything.

Another bug: after working for a while on a project making sure that it is saved, sometimes when trying to undo the last action (by either pressing ctrl + z or clicking the undo button) it goes so far back that the only way to save a significant amount of work is to close the program without saving and reopening it. Again, this may have to do with the interface simply not updating as it should.

I absolutely love to concept of nicepage. Once the bugs get worked out I can see how it would be an outstanding web building experience.

I don't think it's a computer problem, it's a bug. I have the same now end then. Trying to reduce the height of a section by dragging the blue arrow up makes the height jump from a few 100 till 1200. Trying again makes it even heigher, only adding a number for the height works in those cases. And sometimes it's not possible to move it up while nothing is in the section area.

Last section in the attachment has the problem. The images added shows 3 parts, first how it looks with a green outline around the area that needs to be removed. Second part: picking the blue mover which instantly jumps down. Third part, the result from the jump down, height changed to 938 from 210.

Note that i only have the problem with this layout in the laptop screen, all others don't have have the jumping this time.

I have same problem and some more. I love the product but in my opinion it is not yet ready for production. I hope the team sticks to Nicepage and does not abandon development like their predecessors. It looks promising, and with some tweaks and bug fixes, it would a winner.
