Ask a Question

Hi,

I'm using MacBook Air and I accidentally moved the Nicepage folder from documents (default location) to another location. When I move back the folder, I couldn't find the sites when I open the Nicepage app. I didn't do any back up (export to Nicepage project). Any one has any idea how to get my sites back?

Thank you!

Hi Nicole,

All Desktop projects are saved locally (by default, on the local disk in the documents/nicepage folder).
This folder can be changed under the Profile >> Preferences in the Desktop app. Please find the project folder on your computer and make sure that the path and folder name specified in the Desktop app match the location of the folder on your computer and its real name.

Hi,

I changed the profile from the preference already but it didn't auto load the previous project. May I know which file is the project file? Maybe I can try to open it manually from the app.

Thank you!

Regards,
Nicole

Hi Nicole,

The folder specified as Projects folder under the Profile >> preferences is the current project's folder. If Nicepage runs properly, you can copy the website folder named "Site_[numbers]" from the current location to the Project's folder and then restart Nicepage. You should see the websites then.
Please keep us posted about the progress.
