Product list and shopping cart in Joomla Plugin

Dear Nicepage
Are there any possibilities to use the Product list and Shopping cart elements in Joomla plugin, or are there any horizon in the future to use these functions?
I have an existing webpage, with an already made custom template, so to have to import a new theme made in Joomla Plugin, is no go.

Hi Mogens,

Do you mean that you want to design Shopping Cart and Product List Templates? Then you can design them in the desktop application only. You cannot create them in the plug-in on the site.
So edit those templates in the desktop application and export them as the Theme, that will change only the theme on the site and won't affect the content that you have changed on your site with the plug-in.

Dear Hella
So I can design a shopping list and shopping cart in the desktop app, and then upload this to my existing webpage, without spoiling this design.
But if it is exported as a theme, then this will affect my existing design and theme?

Hi Mogens,

Yes, you will upload the whole new Theme. Note that theme does not include the content so the content that you have edited in the site with the plug-in won't be affected when you install the Theme only.

But when I already have designed a theme with the plugin, this is not optimal.
Are there no other ways to get a product list and shopping cart into the Joomla Plugin?

Hi Mogens,

Let me explain a bit. You cannot modify the theme with the plug-in on the site, so you need to edit templates in the desktop application and export the theme only to install it on your site.
On the site with the plug-in you can edit the content only.
