Ask a Question

I've created a simple webpage using the windows app and exported the HTML but when I copy the HTML code and paste into a HTML online viewer it just displays basic text like the heading and sub headings but none of the images, elements or formatting etc?

Is the code locked or protected?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for using Nicepage.

Could you please explain to us step by step what exactly you are doing and which editor are you using?

Hi Ahmad,

I basically opened the webpage in a browser viewer the source code then copied the HTML and pasted it into an online HTML editor. Maybe I am doing this wrong?

I need the actual HTML code not the files as I want to paste the HTML code into another editor.

Thank you in advance.

Conrad

Hi Conrad,

Ohh, we can see now. But it won't work in that way. All the files in the folder are important, and it's the whole big things that connect the dots :)

However, we would advise you to watch some videos to have some basic understanding of HTML, and it won't consume a lot of your time, vise versa, it will save your time. Later on, you will understand.

Hopefully to see you soon among our clients.
Success,

Hi, I wasn't aware that there were different editors... it's an application called "Nicepage" running on a windows computer. It has the option to upload HTML to a folder, or FTP to a server, both of which I've tried and neither display correctly in any browser. Today I'm just using the default template that opens when you run the program. What I see is basically the header and the footer, but no content between them. If I "preview" this page it displays fine.
