I believe what you are suggesting is a work-around? So to be able to get the Margin-line I need to move all the content around it?

My suggestion that you can type the margin as a value in the settings, would fix it :)
+ you would be able to see the values instead of having to grab and move the adjustment,.

If I have an element inside a Group close to the border, and the Margins of the Group is set to zero, I have no chance for grapping the margin with the freehand.

If you need to add some space between the Group border and the control you can use the Group Padding under the right-side panel. This property adds spacing inside the Group.

Also there is no way to see the margin except for if you get a grab on it with the free hand.

Since we have the freehand, you can control margins either by dragging or using keyboard arrows. And we have the request to add the display for the distance by pressing the ALT key.

The setting you are showing in the screenshot is the setting for the size of the group/container and its position. It does not provide margin settings.

Another note to the subject is;
-once you make a margin is set to= 0px, then it can be close to impossible to grab it in the interface again.

The only way back is then to ctrl-z or start over.

If you could type it in the attributes, the problem would be solved immediately,
