If you currently have a host, and are using static html site, you export the html site to a location on your computer and upload the files to your online host.
I find it easier if you use a program like FileZilla to do it.
Your host will tell you which folder online the files need to be uploaded to.
Typically, the public_html folder.
If you are using Wordpress/Joomla, you will need to wait for someone else to explain.
