Nicepage vs Virtuemart

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately we do not have any special tutorials. In general, we have Templates and Controls for VirtueMart.
We have the Products List, Product Details, Shopping Cart Templates that you can find under the Theme tab and design in the desktop application. Those are templates where you can edit the design of the page and they will be used on the corresponding pages created by VirtueMart on your site.
Also we have Product Details and Product List Elements that display a single product or products from the selected category on the static pages created with Nicepage.

Note, all the products and categories should be added within VirtueMart on your site and also managed further using VirtueMart options, Nicepage only styles and outputs the VirtueMart content.

Hallo,
Die templates product list, details en winkelwagen heb ik uiteraard wel gevonden en aangepast aan eigen kleuren lay-out.
Maar hoe krijg ik die geactiveerd in virtuemart, dit gaat dus niet automatisch met het uploaden.
Zowel in Virtuemart als Nicepage worden deze templates niet zichtbaar om koppelen of te selecteren.
Ik zit hier opnieuw het wiel uit te vinden.

You do not need to select templates inside your Joomla admin panel. The Product details templates will be automatically used on the pages that you create from the VirtueMart products. Also the Product List template will be used by the VirtueMart category pages and any other pages with the products grid. The same is for the Shopping Cart template, it will be applied to the cart page.
To add such pages, use your Menu Manager in Joomla to add the menu items of the corresponding types.

Precies, daar zit het probleem.
Bij menu-items onder de pagina kies ik Virtuemart.
Dan kan ik alleen kiezen voor de template:
-winkelwagen (deze werkt wel, maar is niet de bedoeling)
-Categorie (deze laat niets zien)
-Artikelgegevens (toont slecht 1 vooruit gekozen artikel)

Product-list (totaal overzicht) staat hier niet in de lijst

So, you edited the Product Templates in the Desktop application:

and exported the theme with product templates:

Once this theme is installed on your Joomla website and activated you just need to create a new item of the corresponding type under the Joomla Menu Manager (Product Category, Single product, etc). That's all. You do not need to specify the template. It will be applied automatically depending on the selected menu item type.
