Nicepage not working on Mac M1

Mac Big Sur 11.2 in combination with Mac Mini M1 16GB 1TB does open Nicepage with the message: loading... and that is it. On Macbook !7 it does open but that is not my computer. Please advice because I want to buy it but for now that is not a good iedea. Best regards and thanks.

Hi Roelof,

Could you tell us if you have a strong internet connection at the moment of the opening of the Nicepage Desktop App? Or possibly some running processes might block the access to the internet for the Nicepage?

Kindly update or reinstall the Desktop App and tell us if it helps.

We can assure you that the Nicepage is absolutely compatible and user friendly.

Internet connection is 985 mbts on cable and 500 on wifi so that is not the problem. I think the problem is that I can only work online on a hosted website. On the Macbook I had the offline version but on Mac Mini it is online only. That is why the test version is not working. Reinstall did not solve the problem.

Hi Roelof,

So, on Macbook offline version is working, but on Mac Mini, you can work only online?
By offline, do you mean Nicepage Desktop App and by online Nicepage Hosting Online?

Could you please create log files for us to investigate this issue:

  • create in ~/ Library/Application Support/Nicepage folder debug.txt
  • restart Nicepage
  • open the standard browser console (I think it is Command + Option + I) >> switch to the Console tab. If there is an error, please make a screen and send debug.txt file as an attached file to this case.

We are doing that many times a day. Nicepage works. Please note, that even if your trial is over, you can still use Nicepage Starter Edition for free.
