We are a non-profit 501(c)3 charity and were trying to create a free website.

Ask a Question

I downloaded and installed nicepage in an attempt to create a free webpage for Diamond Wishes Children's Charity. We had a Joomla website created for us in 2016 by students at ITT. The website was not completely finished when it was presented to us. The students assigned to the project of making the website graduated and the ITT schools were closed down. I was able to make it work and was able to use Joomla to add material to complete the unfinished pages. On a weekend several years ago our .us website was attacked the same day as many federal and state websites were hacked by Iran sympathizers who removed all of the data and replaced it with a terrorist message. We got the hosting company to take it down. Because they hacked into the website through the Joomla admin page they changed the password and locked us out. We are left with an html copy of the first page which we display just to keep a web presence. I read an article on the internet that listed nicepage as a software that nonprofits can use to create free Wordpress, Joomla and HTML websites. I have recreated a close proxy of the original website using none of the gold crowned elements assuming that there is a charge to use them. I am ready to export the page at this point. It seems that only the HTML version is what is free, but can not be updated like a Wordpress of Joomla page can. I am able to edit HTML so though it would be harder to do if that is the only way that I can export it for free I guess that will have to do. Am I understanding the Export dialog correctly?

Hi,

Thank you for your message

Just in case, if you have not contacted the hosting yet, explain to them the current situation, they must have a backup of your website.

You can of course use our free version, as there is an opportunity to use the free version not only for HTML, but also for WordPress and Joomla, but in a limited mode.

Please provide more information about what features/functions you need and what kind of website you want to make. (any example)

Sincerely,
Ahmad M.
