Ask a Question

Hi!

I am new to creating sites and I am having a lot of problems.
I already have a domain and a host (hostgator), and have been building my site using nicepage desktop version for mac ox.
I have exported the html of the site on zip to the host cPanel, but when loading the site any of the images appear (it appears only the texts and links).
The images are all on jpg. I have tried other formats and it also did not work.
If someone could help I apprecieate it.

Hi,

Thank you for your message.

Kindly provide some screenshots to clarify the reason why the images don't appear on your website.
But most likely, the path to the pictures is incorrect.

Go to HostGator Live Chat Support - https://helpchat.hostgator.com/
They will tell you which path you should put for your images.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.

Hi, I have attached an image.
I am working on the patches to see if I can figure out the problem.
I am using the free Nicepage desktop version for mac, and I supose its possible to export an html site on free version as I am not having any problems to do so, just with the images.

Thanks for the help, Lucas

We've checked your website Lucas Milano and checked the path to your images.
And it looks like it should be placed in the Images folder, but this folder doesn't exist.

Kindly attach your exported HTML website as a *zip file for us.
Additionally, check the Images folder on your Hosting HostGator.

Should you require further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
As we look forward to hearing from you, we appreciate your interest shown at Nicepage.

Hi!
I have checked the cPanel in my host and the folder images is there on public_html with all the pictures inside. (I also changed the name from images to Images and nothing)
The site is unfinished, I am exporting just to see if the images would work.

Hi,

Please move your Images folder to your website folder lucasmilano.com.br (the root folder or the folder equivalent to the public_html folder where the website pages are located)

I also changed the name from images to Images, and nothing

Please keep the same name of folder images how it is in your project.
