Do you suggest to design within the app and the upload to WP?

Also your server may have some limitations on the request size and time and that may cause some delays.

Anyway, do you suggest to create inside the app and THE upload theme + content into wordpress as a turnaround? or only the theme? and further, do I need to have a Nicepage theme uploade into wordpress?

Yes, as an alternative you can create the content in the desktop application and export it to your site each time you edit it. Also you can use Nicepage theme to style other WP pages of your site.
But if you want us to investigate why the plug-in is so slow on your site, then please provide an access to the site backend and explain how exactly we could reproduce the issue.
