Hi,
I read the instructions in the post #2469, but in some images (cover or contains is equal) you can not add the ALT TAG.
Thank you.

Hi,
The ALT can be added to the images only. If the image is used as a background image (Image Fill) the ALT cannot be added.

Hi,
I knew this (I read your replay to post # 2469!).
To me the problem happens in some images (but not all) even when not used as a background
Look at the two attached screenshots,
Thank you.
Walt.

Your screen shot shows the Image Fill options of the Cell in the Grid control. That is the background image that does not have the alt tag. You can set it only for the Picture control.

Hi Hella,
Let's try to explain better: in this section there is an image. It, used in "cover" or "contains" mode, can NOT be tagged because the program does not allow it!
I was able to give you the demonstration of this error?
Or maybe I do not understand? :-)
If you set "cover" or "contains" - this image goes as background in CSS.
There is no rules for CSS to add alt text for image.
Alt option must be hidden in Niepage UI if image set as "cover"... maybe this is bug in your version of Nicepage software.

I suppose it's a mistake and let me thank you for your help!

Hi,
If you still have problems with Picture alternate text please create a new private topic and attach the website which contains a page that demonstrates the issue. The website should be exported as Project.

I had the same problem and the way i was able to work around it was by making the image just a little tiny bit smaller than the container and then I was able to add the alternate text. Although if you look at the site closely you can see that some of the images don't line up perfectly. I think this should be a priority to find a solution in the next update as images do play a huge part in search engine optimization. Its great that the pages can be created quickly and that they look great but what good is a great looking page that can not be properly optimized to rank higher in the search engines.
here is the site that had the same problem http://www.bigheartgrouphomes.com/

Hi Robert,
For example, if the Picture control is stretched to cover Grid cell or Container, it converts to background image which is a CSS property and does not have HTML attributes.
To avoid this, you do not need to cover the whole size of the cell/container with the image. In this case, the control will not be changed to the background image, and you will be able to add alternative text.
