Im using google drive to host it. Could that be the problem. Im getting no such input on my google analytics account after doing that exactly. I also added it to the header directly in the script with nice pages addition header info. That did not work. Then in Visual Studio Code. That did not work after uploading either. Please advise. Ill try my best to state everything I've already done. Ive read many threads on this issue now to no avail. I may just schedule that Skype call. Thanks!

Hi,

In general, you just need to insert the GA ID into the corresponding field in Nicepage Settings:

GA.png

Nicepage will generate all the required code. No need to add anything else.
But I recommend that you check the page source and search for the GA code. If it is there then it should work.

Im using google drive to host. I enable the hosting with drive-to-web on the website drv.tw
Could that be the issue? You would think in theory google drive would work with google analytics. Please advise. Thanks

Hi! I have the same problem!
I inserted the Analytics ID as you mentioned - but when I run the test in google analytics it keeps telling me that google analytics can not be found on my website.

the html code is (I have deletet the number for the post here):

Help - please!

function gdprConfirmed() {
    return true;
}
if (gdprConfirmed()) {
--------------("\
\
<!-- Google Analytics -->\
<gascript async src=\"https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-217959861-1\"></gascript>\
<gascript>\
    window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];\
    function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}\
    gtag('js', new Date());\
    gtag('config', 'XXXXXXXXXX');\
</gascript>\
<!-- End Google Analytics -->\
".replace(/gascript/g, 'script'));
}
</script>

Hi,

The IID itself can be obtained from Google services. Then you can add it to the Site Settings >> Google tab in the Analytics ID input.
