Do not want plugin available in wordpress

I have another large site ready to upload. Is there any way to upload content/pages without installing the plugin? I don't want my friend to be able to change the site I have built but do want regular wordpress functions available.

No, the content can be displayed only with the plug-in installed and activated. The theme can work without the plug-in.
