is it modified directly handling the code? because I have the free version of the program and it does not allow removing the watermark (link that puts nicepage at the end of the page)

It’s in the site settings. There’s a box to uncheck on the general tab.

I already looked at the gear icon but no option appears

Yes, the footnote can be removed only with the paid license.

White Lable is a different option. It allows you to brand the Nicepage plug-in with your own logo, name and so on. That works for the WP and Joomla sites:
