Hi,

We do not know exactly the algorithms used by FB. But it looks like they do not use image backgrounds and they probably use the open graph image. Usually, this is the website Logo.

But so the function that allows you to share content on social media is of little use, if I want to share a post or a single photo what should I do?

Hi,

We recommend that you check FB recommendations for this. Then we can help you to implement it in Nicepage. But it looks like that you will need to add the desired OG images for the posts you would like to share.

I encountered such a problem at home. After uploading the template from NicePage, the correct opengraph data is not transferred. Switching to the standard template - cassiopea, causes the correct transfer of this data and the photos and descriptions of articles from my website are correctly posted.
After uploading the template made by NicePage, the OpenGraph data is overwritten, which means that you cannot post on Facebook photos, descriptions, title of the article and even its address.
The problem concerns overwriting with false information data transmitted to Facebook by your template.
I sent information views from the Facebook debugger to the website
and screen with the og: definition lines disabled in the default.php file (og: description, og: title is displayed correctly, and other og: definitions needed there, except for og: image - which gives the wrong address by pointing to the image of the main page logo, not picture from the article that is linked.
I can't turn off the og: image redefinition, so I am asking for some immediate help and a radical solution to the problem.

I am surprised by the service's approach to this matter and proposing modifications to the NicePage page settings - which is not necessarily related to the causes of the problem.
