Ask a Question

Hi,

I am using Nicepage with Joomla. I have multilanguage website with one administration and each language has its own domain. I would like to set Google Analytics and Facebook pixel for each language separately (domain) from that one administration. How can I do that if I am using Nicepage template? If I enter ID into site settings it will be for both languages same right?

Thank you
Best regard
Radek

Hi Radek,

If you use the one template for both domains, then yes, the same analytics will be used on both sites. You may assign different themes for different languages and create two themes with the different Analytics code.

Thank you for quick reply. I can use 2 templates. I exported template for Joomla from desktop Nicepage app. So I can export it once more with different name and use it in style templates. But where is then possible to set different values for Google analytics and Facebook pixel? Because if I click in components>nicepage there is only one settings, right? And if I open article and click on site settings and find Google tab and custom header html code then it is set for all created articles with all languages?

Best regards
Radek

Hi Radek,

You need to set the different code in the desktop application in the Site Settings, then when you export the theme with the different name and assign it to the desired domain, that template analytics code should be used on your second domain.

Hi Hella,

thank you for reply. Now I understand so it is impossilbe to set it in Joomla only trough desktop application. I tried to fill analytics code number into Site settings > Google tab and I filled Facebook pixel script code into HTML tab to additional head field and export it (only theme checked) and after import I can see only facebook pixel in the source code of page. Google analytics is not visible. Is there any other trick for it? I change number of version template and it was changed in Joomla. But it is without Google analytics code.

Thank you for advice

Hi, problem solved. Plugin JCH Optimize needs to add exclusion for google analytics script as the plugin remove that script from code.
