Ask a Question

Hi,
I created a site at nicepage and now I tried to install it to my joomla-installation.

I proceded as shown in your video tutorial, but the options are different to the process shown in the tutorial
I used the export-function and chosed Joomla-ZipArchiev-and then ticked all three options.
Then the download was done successfully, but unlike your video tutorial I did't get the 3 zip-folders MySite ThemeContent, MySite Content and MySiteTheme, but only one zip-folder.
How do I have to go one now?
Maybe you should update your video-tutorial or what have I done wrong?

Please help.
Kind regards

Hi,

Please check the following video on how to import the exported archive with theme and content on the Joomla website:
https://nicepage.com/doc/70107/installation-of-joomla-template-and-articles

Nicepage export just one archive. You should install it as the theme, then extract and install the extension from this archive and then import content through the admin panel.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Great, thanks a lot.
When I make changes in my articles in the Nicepage-App, do I have to export the complete site again to my joomla just like the first installation of the nicepage-site on my joomla or can I only update the changes? If yes, it there a turtorial for that?

And when I make changes to my nicepage site directly in my joomla via the Nicepage-Menu in my joomla, can I see the changes also in my Nicepage App? If yes, how?

Thanks a lot, kind regards

rabra,

1) Yes, every time you make changes to your articles in the Nicepage desktop app you need to export and import them to Joomla again.
We recommend you to edit your articles directly in your Joomla with Nicepage plugin.

2) No, you cannot see changes that you made in Joomla in the desktop app.
