When I place a list inside a container (or without a container) it seems OK in the design with three or more columns, but it shows only one column on the live website. I tried everything but always the result is as in attached files.
Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?

You can't put a list into a container. It's not supported. Please attach your project and show on the screenshot what you are trying to achieve.

If the issue happens with the CMS plugin only, please re-export the theme with the new Nicepage Desktop update and install the updated theme on the website. Usually, this issue happens when the theme created with the old Nicepage version is installed on the website.
