Ask a Question

I discovered today that if I used the following Javascript code with a button in a Joomla Article on a website with a Nicepage v 3.1.0 Template that the function is stripped from the button.

Using the following Javascript code:
<button>Go Back</button>

Upon saving the article the code is changed to:
<button>Go Back</button>

See the attachment to notice the change in code.
Although the button above appears to be correct, inspecting the code you will notice that the functionality has been removed.

The next part used to work as intended:

<button>Go Back</button>

Now when saving the Joomla article it does not , the JavaScript function is removed from the button:

Chris,

Why do you not use the HTML Element? We are not controlling the Joomla Editor.

Hi Allen,
I do apologise, I discovered that it is not the Nicepage template that is causing the problem.
Thank you
