Ask a Question

I have a new website and am implenting a menu with sub-menu options on some elements. On desktop platforms not using the hamburger option, the main option works well along with the sub-menus. However, when using mobile device, the sub-menu option works but the main menu option does nothing. Why is this? How can I overcome this issue?

Hi Chris,

That is behavior by default. On the mobile devices there is no hover option that works on the desktop view and shows the subitems. So in the mobile view the menu item with the subitems becomes a separator to show submenus on touch.

Hi Chris,

There is no way to select it. Some users rebuild the responsive menu. They use two different module positions, one for the desktop views and the second one for the responsive mode and use different menu sources. For the mobile menu they use the menu where the parent item link s duplicated as the first submenu item.

I have solved this issue by repeating the main menu option as the first sub-menu option.
