Post Template Not Functioning

Report a bug

I'm not sure why when I customize the post template in the desktop editor, the changes do not show up in the CMS, particularly the footer changes. If you look at my screenshots you'll see what I've set for the Blog Post page and what actually comes out when you click on a Blog Post. I thought it was a setting with the "Default Page Template" in the CMS Nicepage settings but I've tried all three settings and it doesn't make a difference.

Thanks.

Hi Shane,

Try to use the Theme Template option and let me know if that helps.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I've tried all theme template options and it still looks the same. I've even re-exported the template and selected replace previous content, imported it in and still the posts page looks like an older version of the theme that includes a PayPal logo which I've since removed. I've included screenshots again.

In Wordpress I've also gone into the Homepage Settings under theme customization and tried selecting a different "Posts page" which makes no difference. So weird and frustrating.

What's also interesting is if I go into the Wordpress plugin editor and edit one of the pages changing the Page Template option to something other than "Nicepage Header and Footer" (see screenshot), the old Paypal logo will appear in the header. I don't know where it's getting this from considering I've removed this Paypal logo from the header in the Nicepage desktop editor.

So in the Wordpress Nicepage plugin editor, changing the Page Template setting to "Nicepage Header and Footer" will display the correct header.

Shane,

Why you are not using the Nicepage's Theme then?

Huh? I am. It displays the correct header and footer but you can't make any changes to the posts page itself (such as adjusting the size of the featured image). What I might do is try to delete the Nicepage theme template and try to re-upload.

Shane,

The Post Template is not editable in the CMS. You can edit the Post Template only with the Nicepage Applicaiton.

Yes, I'm using the Nicepage application to edit the post template as per the original post:

Hi there. I deleted the Nicepage theme and re-imported it. The changes are now working.
